What we collect when you ask for a quote, why, and what your rights are.
Who is responsible
LH Constructions ehf. (kennitala 680214-0420, Höfðabakka 9, 110 Reykjavík) is responsible for the processing of your personal data. You can reach us at info@lhconstruct.is.
What we collect
When you ask for a quote: your name, phone number, email address if you give it, town, the description of the job, the photos you send and how you prefer to be contacted.
To stop spam we store a one-way code calculated from your IP address, never the address itself.
Why we use it
Only to answer your request, prepare a quote and, if you accept it, carry out the work.
The legal basis is the steps you ask us to take before a contract (article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, which applies in Iceland through Act No. 90/2018).
How long we keep it
We delete a request and its photos within 24 months if no work follows. When we do the job, the invoices are kept as long as Icelandic accounting law requires.
Who sees it
Only us. The companies that host this website and send its emails process the data on our behalf, within the European Economic Area. We never sell your data.
Cookies
This website uses no cookies for tracking or advertising. Visitor statistics, if any, are counted without cookies and without personal data.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Write to info@lhconstruct.is.
You can also complain to the Icelandic Data Protection Authority, Persónuvernd (personuvernd.is).
